We are fully capable of making a fancier and flashier website — no doubt about it. But the point here is to let you know that you can have an effective web presence that will help drive customers to your business for as little as $50.

If you require something more than this “bare minimum” site, we have four higher levels of web design for progressively more complicated and polished designs. Check out your Web Design packages at the bottom of the page. But before we get there, you will need to get two things out of the way first. you will need a domain name and a web host.

Domain Name

A domain name is a “name” that give the “address” of sites on the Internet. You will need one of these like YourArmiger.com before you start building your website. Choosing a great domain name is very difficult, but the most important things to keep in mind are to make it memorable and something that speaks to who you or your company are.

Typically you can purchase a new domain name for about $10–$15 for the first year as an introductory rate, with prices going up to $15–$20 a year thereafter. If a provider is trying to charge more than this, look for a different provider.

You will need to know if the domain name you want is available, for that you can use this simple tool. If the domain you want shows up as taken, simply think of something else to try.

Web Hosting

I used to offer web-hosting packages myself, but as the market got increasingly competitive I decided to let the giant hosting companies do what they do best and focus on what I can do at the best value for the customer.

There are a lot of options you can find now for the small to mid-sized company or internet project that will cost you less than $10/month. Personally, I use Host Gator for most of my projects, but Blue Host and 1and1 are also popular. You should check them all out and see if what they offer is right for the task you have in mind.

Once you have both your domain name and your web host purchased, the next step will be to tell the internet how to point your domain name to your new web space. You can find some good information about how to do this by following this link. You will then be ready to start order a website from us, or do one on your own.

If you don’t have all the copy written or the photos taken that your website will require, we can help you out with these extras packages.

• Additional Stock Photos: $10 each.
• Copy Writing: 10¢ per word. Typical web articles run between 500 and 800 words. Rate includes a third-party proof reader.
• Additional Logos or Icons: Simple Web Icons $5 each. Logos start at $60 each.
• Custom Photographs: $250 each.
• Photo Editing: $25 per hour.
• Brochure Design: Dependent upon your needs, but components priced as above.
